The City of Midwest City has 10 outdoor warning sirens within its City limits. Each month the devices are tested to ensure proper operation of the outdoor warning sirens.

The Mid-Del Amateur Radio Club monitors these devices during the test and conducts a radio net across the city to ensure the radio communications systems are in working order.

Testing is done on the first Saturday of the month at Noon.  Volunteer assignments are done during the monthly club meeting that takes place at 10:00AM.  Each volunteer is assigned to a specific outdoor warning siren and will monitor the function and physical condition of the siren and report the status back on the Outdoor Warning Siren Net.

The map below shows the location of each of the 10 sirens.
